Fun Mosaic and Art classes in 2007
The ancient art of mosaics originated in Greece 5,000 yrs ago. It uses colorful tile and designs or patterns to create beautiful pieces of art. Now you can learn how to work with mosaics which is so fun and easy to do!
A lot of Mosaic art lovers knew the Walk-In Multi-Art Studio “Create-a Mosaic” and were sad when this studio had to close. The Naperville Cultural Center has good news: everything that children and adults loved so much is moved now to the Naperville Cultural Center at 55 South Main Street, Ste 211 in downtown Naperville! A lot of different sized and shaped mosaic projects are now available for children and adults to work on during classes, open studio times and mosaic birthday parties! It all begins in January 2007!
Here is the classes’ schedule:
My Dad and I Made It! For 4-7 yrs old – Thursday 6:30-7:30pm
Only $72 for 5 classes! January 11th – February 8th, or February 15th -March 15th
Mom and I Made It! For 4-7 yrs old – Tuesday 1:30-2:30 pm or Thursday 9:30-10:30am. Only $72 for 5 classes! January 9th – February6th, or February 13th -March 13th
Mosaic Madness! For 6-12 yrs olds; Tuesdays 5-6pm
Only $72 for 5 classes! January 9th – February6th, or February 13th -March 13th; Also available through the Naperville Park District Wednesdays from February 14th -March 14th
Mosaics: All Broke Up. For all ages; Saturdays 9-10am or Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm. Only $72 for 5 classes! January 10th – February 7th, or February 14th -March 14th

Art around the world is another fun class that is offered at The Naperville Cultural Center. Classes start in January 11th and will run till March 8th, Thursdays 4-5pm for ages 5-7yrs & Thursdays 5-6pm for ages 8-12yrs
Art in the styles of the masters. Covering 9 different styles of artists and the artists' biographies! Paint like Monet & learn about Giverney! Scultpt like Picasso & learn about Spain! Come and have fun with art. Price $110 for 9 weeks. Click here
